Hep, hep hurray! Springtime is here, and we are smelling flowers and cupcakes everywhere. So, aside from the blossoming of spring flowers, this season is the celebration of Easter and Mr. Easter Bunny is already busy preparing the eggs for us to catch, but while waiting for the Easter egg hunt let’s start making some Easter goodies this weekend.
Before we start making our weekend coffee treat, let us go back first in the past and see the history behind the Easter celebration.
The Easter celebration is a Christian tradition where it is the observance in the day of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Easter is a sacred Christian tradition that celebrated each year. In the United States, and other countries the most celebrated easter activity is the Easter egg hunt where families and their children can join in the fun in hunting the traditional colorful Easter eggs, where some of them have prizes inside which add thrill and excitement in the festivity.
For some, who are not participating in any outdoor activities for the Easter celebration, they are welcoming the spirit of Easter in their homes by making some Easter treats. Aside from making the traditional boiled eggs nowadays, people are making creative ways to make the Easter holiday more festive like making an Easter egg from chocolate or an Easter egg cake.
To start the spirit of the Easter celebration, including the Springtime which one of our favorite season of the year we will make a Cadbury Creme Egg Frappuccino for our weekend coffee treat.

CADBURY CREME EGG FRAPPUCCINO RECIPE
INGREDIENTS
- 2 shots espresso (or 1/2 cup of strong coffee) – chilled
- 1/4 cup whole milk
- 3 tablespoons sweetened condensed milk
- 2 cups of ice cubes
- 2 Cadbury Creme Eggs – broken apart into pieces
- whipped cream (for topping)
- chocolate shavings (for topping)
INSTRUCTIONS
- Blend everything together in a blender until smooth.
- Serve in a glass topped with whipped cream and chocolate shavings.
