Did you know that drinking a cup of coffee a day can reduce the risk of liver cancer? A recent study shows by researchers of Istituto di Ricerche Farmacologiche Mario Negri (IRFMN) in Italy showed drinking coffee may help reduce the risk of liver cancer. A team lead by Francesca Bravi showed in their recent data gathered how coffee helps to prevent the risk of liver cancer Hepato Cellular Carcinoma (HCC), known as cancer of the liver.

Liver cancer js one if the Chronic diseases caused by deaths around the world, next to lung and colon cancer. There are at least 11 students from Southern Europe and Japan who started the research foundation of IRFMN.

The research IRFMN was a published meta-analysis study on HCC, which shows how many cups of coffee a patient has consumed per day. All gathered published data’s by the research team was integrated into single analysis obtaining a quantitative approximation of coffee consumptions and HCC growth. The data showed that coffee consumers have at least 41 percent risk reduction of HCC, comparing to noncoffee drinkers. The hypothetical study of the beneficial effects of coffee consumption was proven more in the Southern Europe and ameliorate the study further, comparing the figures in Japan where there are fewer coffee drinkers are more prone to liver diseases.
Laboratory studies have shown that compounds found in coffee acts as blocking agents that help in carcinogenic detoxification by reacting with enzymes. In studies caffeine in the coffee is the beneficial component that helps the liver enzymes and other body enzymes fight cancer cells. Aside from it reduces liver diseases coffee consumption can help in preventing cirrhosis that both can lead to liver cancer.

In some studies, it shows that caffeine may counteract the symptoms of menopause and can boost the reaction of antibiotics much better. Animal studies show that beauty creams added with caffeine’s can prevent skin cancer. But on the other hand, too much caffeine intake can also cause serious health problems, but this may occur to abusive coffee drinkers, in the long run, so always take precautions and drink moderately.

This research study shows the compound factors of coffee can help in the prevention of liver cancer, thou the team of researchers notes that this research study needs to be repeated by other researchers to have firm scientific evidence of the study. The authors added despite the stability of the findings, it is still difficult to conclude basing the fact gathered on observational studies alone. In some cases it may or may not be that patients with digestive disorders, including liver disease, has made their own decision to reduce their coffee consumption, even there is no mandatory prescription of the doctor.

While the study found a significant correlation between drinking coffee and how it can help on risk reduction of liver cancer. The researchers still emphasize that this study must be Repeatedly done by other researchers to have more accurate pieces of evidence.

The IRFMN researchers added more that coffee intake will still depend on patients, the amount of coffee they drink per day., though the benefits of coffee and how it can help in the prevention of liver cancer has been shown to be accurate. Some diseases like Hepatitis B and C, cirrhosis, other social indicators, liquors, and cigarettes shows that it doesn’t affect the result of the study.

The findings of this research study have provided significant evidence how coffee can help in lessening the risk of liver cancer. However, researchers cannot provide a firm conclusion of this study because it still needs a long-term evaluation and thorough research of the study.
